The end of my internship is very near (end of April) so I’m trying to make some cash for my inevitable unemployment soon! So I made some masks with paints and supplies I had lying around my house, the end results are pretty cool I think! Signal boost if you can ; v ;
I know, I know….old cosplay is old. But I don’t have many fullbody shots of this outfit, and there are far too many pictures out there with my first ugly set of Zora armor boots. They went through a couple of updates through the years of wearing the costume, I’d like to think they were a lot better near the end of the costumes life.
Not the best and most interesting photos, but I’ll take what I got!
A little late for Halloween, but I finally had a chance to get good photos of my pumpkin today! I always work late so it’s dark when I get home haha
I had a lot of fun making the little jack figure.
I’m a day late on this art challenge prompt but hey better late than never
8. Cg a drawing, colouring it with three depths of shades and three depths of lighting. Draw a “paper child” illustration, cut it out and photograph it! (again me and Patches edit boring prompts that’s why you will see some of them crossed out like this)
I drew a cute drowned suit man (pose inspired by James Cagney) and an astronaut floating in some flowers. This prompt was simple and fun, and interesting when incorporating photography a little~
So Colossal was amazing this past weekend. I had a blast to say the least. My friend Patches got some great shots of my Ramona cosplay and I just thought I should share! Go check out the rest of the set here
This costume is so fun to wear, and comfortable!
I’ll get back to arting soon guys looll
People always make random robotic hands and hats in their spare time, right?
These are kind of haphazardly made hot glue and craft foam pieces- but regardless it was fun making these to pass the time!
I’m also trying to brainstorm what I can possibly make for my Etsy store…
Don’t usually post cosplay/crafting stuff on this blog but I’ve been far too busy to draw anything lately. Searching for apartments is stressful, and I’ve got an internship starting on the 20th! I was at Ohayocon this past weekend and I debuted my Caroline (Portal 2) costume there. This was very spontaneous project that I did in the span of 2-3 days (probably shows). Done entirely for my own enjoyment as I love the game but don’t have the time or money to invest in a Chell cosplay yet.
These quick shots were taken by my sister. Arg my legs look like hams and the seams pucker a little…but I am generally happy with it despite it being a quick dress (it’s fully lined and everything, and I love how the neck line came out).
Expect art soon, I have to finish up a couple commissions and do some tegaki work~
Am I a cool kid yet? No? okay. I wanted to try painting a skull mask like my sister and friends so I gave it a shot.
Probably came out a little too literal but oh well. I wanted to do something with fall because not only is it the best season, but I thought incorporating it onto the skull mask would work well. Fall is all about death if you think about it, leaves dying and falling off trees, plants and flowers shriveling up, bugs the same~ etc
The leaves are cut craft foam, glued on, primed and then painted with acrylics
Welcome to Asher blog 2011 :////
Trying to scramble up some things to shove on this blog. I’ve been really busy with portfolio building.
This is a really old Asher head-sculpt (2009), done around the same time as this one~ Never got around to finishing it. How does I sculpt top-hat? lolol
