Yesterday we had a full session with just one pose, so I chose to focus on the hands and feet. I wish the hands turned out, but the dude would not stop moving them or changing the pose of them (nice excuse for sucking at hands, zo).

Challenge #10: Draw an Imaginary object

I sketched up these quick little fantasy helmet and weapon concepts. Had the Milmo game in mind when I was thinking these up. Two of the helmets are updated helmets from old characters of mine

Ten challenges down, 90 more to go…..yikes. haha 

So I got to do some live figure drawing yesterday, and wow…I’m so rusty. That’s all I can say.  :1

I knoowww…nothing too exciting here. I’m fighting a real bad art funk so these facial/figure studies are the least I could do! This is the same man as the last set of face/expression studies. Also here is the same espression just different face angles. I spent a little more time on the left face 

in other news, does anyone want to send me some cool and interesting photoshop brushes??? (Ones you like using etc?)

Draw this dress inspired sketches! Me and Jing started up a Draw This Dress Posers blog to get ourselves to start drawing more, even though these aren’t much they are something!

These are the three sketches I’ve come up with so far, hopefully I’ll get better at doing these quick little doodles~ 

So I’ve been gaining some followers, but I have nothing to show any of you! Gasp!

I’ll be a little busy this week, but I’m going to strive to accomplish something for myself art-wise (soon)!

THIS LOOKED COOLER IN  MY HEAD. Some ugly quick concept scribbles of a more humanized GLaDOS. I like my android GLaDOS but I wanted to see what I could come up with if I made her look more human. And I like the possibility of cosplaying this or the more complex design…but that’s the last thing on my mind right now haha. (I will be cosplaying Caroline soon though, probably at Youmacon if I have time) I chose this kind of hair to mimic Caroline’s hair for this instead of going with a makani GLaDOS cut that seems to be the trend nowa days (which is awesome btw don’t get me wrong, I think short hair suits the character more actually).

Last Otakon miss Lithe let me have her old spy mask to wear for my closet cosplay~ This is long overdue art that I owe her that I finally finished up today. Can’t say I’m too happy with them but hey we are our own worst critics i guess llololol

started up Art-Homework challenges again, to get arting on a regular basis etc etc.  yay c:  (we had to draw a self portrait this week)

Masterwork studies I did in tegaki, one in p-chat. Didn’t spend more than 20 minutes on any of them and it probably shows. Don’t look much like the originals (hey isn’t that the point in doing master-studies, making them look exactly like the real things? WOOPS) …I will be putting more effort into my future studies~
